Louise is a retired Registered Nurse and a Volunteer for Alzheimer's Association Arkansas Chapter. Louise is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Alzheimer's Disease Dementia Trainer, and Certified Alzheimer's Dementia Support Group Facilitiator. In her healthcare experience, Louise has provided care in the hospital setting, and provided care & managed teams in hospice & home Health, Director of Nursing in long term care facility & assisted living facility as well as a Nursing Consultant & Investigator for Adult Protective Services in Arkansas.
Louise is the 2024 SCA Board Secretary and spends much of her time participating in volunteer work in the community. She is the Facilitator for the River Vlley Alzheimer's Support Group that meets the second Thursday of every month from 4pm-5pm at 3501 Old Greenwood Road in Fort Smith. Everyone is welcome! Louise says it is her pleasure to communicate with and support caregivers who are giving their all to care for someone they love.
