These guidelines include testing for your overall health: blood sugar levels, blood count, HIV status, electrolytes, and potassium levels, to name a few. If your sugar levels are high, you might have diabetes and need annual foot and eye exams and additional lab work. If you smoke or vape, you need a lung CT. So many things drive your overall health.
Your parents and grandparents should be getting their annual checkups. These checkups help find minor issues before they become significant issues.
